Let me tell you a bit about my lovely stay at Ritter’s, a hotel in Trieste. While I was planning my trip, I was looking for a nice accommodation and this one caught my eye instantly. I fell in love with the pictures of bright, modern, elegant rooms, which looked so cosy and relaxing. Oh but, Ritter’s is not just a hotel. When I saw everything in person I realised Ritter’s is a lot more than just an accommodation and a place to stay. If you go there you will see that it offers so much more.
ABOUT RITTER’S – THE HOTEL
Ritter’s hotel is located at Piazza di Cavana, which is right in the old town in the heart of Trieste. Once a dark neighbourhood in the old town, today is very popular, chic and full of tourists that make bohemian and cheerful atmosphere. In this area you will find pubs, bars, restaurants, a lot of fun, while all the major sights and attractions are just around the corner like.
Even though the hotel is located in a crowded area, you will sleep like a baby here. Hotel is in an elegant and modernized building, completely made for tourists that like to be accommodated in the city center and plan to visit the city on foot. From Ritter’s everything you need to see is just a couple of minutes walk.
RITTER’S ROOMS AND APARTMENTS
Hotel has in total 5 rooms and 7 apartments:

Apart from this, every room and apartment have a wifi, elevator, TV, air conditioning, its own private bathroom and some very nice window views etc. Rooms have a mini fridge and a ketler for coffee or tea, while all the apartments have fully equipped kitchen. Not to mention amenities such as hair dryer, towels, etc. Here you will definitely relax, enjoy and have fun, while saving time by being close to all the sights and the sea. One more useful thing is that is you ask in advance, you can even bring your pet in any of the rooms. There is also a possibility to add a baby cot in both single and double room apartments.
Except from tourists, this hotel can be interesting for people who are planning wedding or newly weds. It is very suitable for bride and groom to get ready here before the wedding, and rest after it. Even to rent it out for their guests. They can even take some photos while getting ready, because all the rooms are very elegant, white, bright and modern. If you decide to do this, you will not make a mistake and your pre wedding photos will look amazing in the apartments.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
Now, there is something else which will be very interesting to everyone who stays at Ritter’s.
In their ownership are also 2 restaurants and a bar in which all guests have 15% discount. Also all three are close to each other and to the hotel.

Apart from these three, there a couple of more bars in the ownership of Ritter’s and Pep’s. The most interesting thing about it is that there is a place in Rossetti theater that can be used for celebrations. It has a cute bar and a wonderful terrace which is just perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, cocktail parties, etc.
PEP’S ROOMS BY THE SEA
Right next to the sea and church of Saint Nicholas, and above Pep’s Fish house there is a guesthouse that has 2 lovely apartments called Pep’s room by the sea. One of them is one family room named Terra and the other is two bedroom suite called Mare. Both are suitable for family and the children. As well as Ritter’s rooms and apartments, Pep’s rooms by the sea are also very bright, morern, stylish and cosy, and Mare suite has the best view to the Audacious pier, Miramare castle and the church. There is a living room area along with sleeping area, and a room for a child in the suite, while family room can have one single and one double bed, or 3 single beds. They both also have private bath, air conditioning and a TV. Of course there are towels, hairdryer, wardrobe, desk, etc.
HOW TO BOOK A ROOM
If you would like to book a room I would recommend to contact the hotel itself. When you are booking a room through the hotel is always cheaper than booking it through some other sites. However, you have the opportunity to book it on some of the other sites also, so you can decide what suits you more.

RITTER’S GALLERY
If you are interested in real estate, Ritter’s has an agency which can give you the best information on the prices and the status on the market. From what I know Trieste is now a great place to buy a real estate whether you want to live there, or maybe you also want to make a guesthouse or a hotel etc. Also it is better to take older buildings in the old town and renovate, because is cheaper and then spend more money on good furniture.
The best places in town are around the main streets that tourists and young people love: Viale Venti Settembre which is close to University and Via Torino which is in the old town in pedestrian area. Also it depends what you want. Whether you want it to be closer to train station or rather closer to the old town where are all the happenings. For more info I would advise you contact them, but I hope I tickelled your mind with this info.
RITTER’S TRIESTE – HOTEL REVIEW
As I said in the beginning, my impressions after staying 2 nights at this hotel are extremely positive! Hotel has all you need if you want to relax and have your own privacy. It is well centered and you can get to all the sights on foot within a couple of minutes. Also you can have a lot fun in the old town no matter if it is day or night. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Trieste.
I also recommend it for wedding guests or even for bride and groom. I can say Pep’s rooms are also incredible, I was really amazed how stylish and lovely they are. Both guesthouse and hotel are impeccable and clean, and as mentioned locations are wonderful. You will not make a mistake whatever you choose, it will make you feel as a king and queen.
